Another great battle, this time victorious and capable of making everything even more epic. Amatori Lodi won game 4 of the Serie A1 Scudetto semifinal, thus returning to the final three years after the last time. In the friendly cauldron of PalaCastellotti, Pierluigi Bresciani's Giallorossi beat the reigning champion Forte dei Marmi 13-12, forced to abdicate. As in game 3, an endless series of shootouts was needed: 20 shots (against the 24 of the previous match) that gave the Lombardy team the chance to play for the title until the end. In regulation time, however, the match ended 4-4 with Amatori capable of recovering from 2-4. Fundamental as always were Compagno, author of a brace, Faccin, Nadini and goalkeeper Grimalt. The last two in particular proved to be the heroes of the challenge: Nadini, in addition to the goal scored in the match, scored four out of four shootouts, while the goalkeeper saved six penalties, including the decisive one. From June 1st, Lodi will go hunting for its fifth tricolor against the winner of Trissino-Bassano. The final will also be the best of five games and barring any sensational surprises, Amatori will have to face the bête noire Trissino, a team favored to win the championship. However, the Giallorossi seem mature this year as rarely happened in recent seasons and are ready to do battle. Alessandro Stella
