Bagnaia and Marquez ready for the challenge in the Spanish GP: qualifying and Sprint Race decisive
Bagnaia and Marquez prepare for qualifying and the Sprint Race of the Spanish GP. Watch out for Quartararo too.

Alex Marquez, 29 years old, second in the World Championship, 17 points behind his brother Marc
It's always there anyway Marquez (a Marquez, aka Alex) up there. But bagnaia has sent important, very important signals in the direction of Spanish GP, at the end of yesterday's pre-qualifying.
Pecco set the second fastest time, behind Alex's Ducati from the Gresini team – uncatchable even after a bad fall – and ahead of the other 'satellite' Desmo, that of Morbidelli (Pertamina-Vr46, or Valentino's team).
Well: where did the other Marquez (aka Marc) end up? He finished with the fourth time and therefore one step below the virtual podium, but this should not fool anyone. Marquez, yesterday, played hide and seek. He signed a couple of pole-place laps, then - also thanks to a fall-non-fall (aka a wobble of his Ducati) - he saw his brother, Pecco, and then Morbido slip away.
The battle, his battle, Marc will start today, with the qualifications (objective pole) and then the Sprint Race. Bagnaia is ready, however, he continues to register good sensations and he remembers well that Jerez is one of his favorite tracks.
"However, I'm not very happy – Bagnaia's analysis –. Let's say that the feeling with the new bike is coming but it's not perfect yet. Having said that, I was still fast and this makes me have good thoughts in view of the Sprint and the race".
Pecco reviews his laps on the Jerez track and also reviews those of Marquez. The duel, in short, will take place and will certainly heat up today, while keeping in mind that among the protagonists there will certainly also be Alex Marquez ("my arm after the fall hurts, but I'll fight it out") and Franco Morbidelli.
Finally, great attention to QuarterlyThe Frenchman kept pace with the Ducatis (fifth fastest time of the day with his Yamaha) and aims to be one of the protagonists of the Spanish weekend.
