During the Perugia-Gubbio Umbrian derby, solidarity prevailed over sporting rivalry with the Avanti Tutta Foundation and AELC joining together in the fight against cancer, exchanging shirts and sending a message of closeness to those affected by the disease.

Not just football at the Renato Curi stadium. But also solidarity. This was the combination that accompanied the Perugia-Gubbio Umbrian derby on Sunday evening where for a moment the sporting rivalry was put aside to take the field all together in the fight against cancer.

A few minutes before the kick-off, the Avanti Tutta Foundation, present with its president Federico Cenci, and the AELC (Eugubina Association for the Fight against Cancer) represented by president Benvenuto Procacci, met for a symbolic greeting by exchanging the shirts of the two teams.

Present were the Institutional Relations Manager of Perugia Calcio Mauro Ricci.

The purpose of this gesture arises from the desire to send a message of solidarity and closeness to all the people who live the reality of oncological disease and to give a sign of friendship and concrete collaboration between the two associations, associations that are part of the network "Together Umbria against Cancer".
