A million euros or so. This is the figure that the Carrarese could receive from Serie B League for the minutes played by their young players. The overall amount of the enhancement award it has not yet been established but the reference point remains the 200 euros per minute of last year for owned young players while for loans the premium will only be 75% of the minutes (150 euros). The amount could also increase if any of the 20 Serie B clubs do not meet the requirements to access it. The minimum requirement for use, during the regular season, is at least 900 minutes and the maximum limit of minutes is set at 450 minutes per game.

The League will recognize the bonus up to a maximum of 9000 minutes. Players born in 2002, 2003 and 2004 will compete and regardless of age will receive the same amount for minutes played. Carrarese used 7 youth-rated players during the season who totaled 8091 minutes, coming very close to the maximum threshold of minutes paid. Samuel Giovane (born in 2003) was the most used player with 1944 minutes, followed by Luigi Cherubini (born in 2004) with 1856, Stiven Shpendi (2003) with 1557, Gabriele Guarino (2004) with 1177, Leonardo Cerri with 1079, Tommaso Milanese (2002) with 259 and Alessandro Fontanarosa (2003) with 219. The valorisation award is only valid for Italian players and therefore the Argentine Mateo Scheffer (2004) is not included, even though he had only played 7 minutes for the national team.

The Apuan company is a bit penalized by the fact that since they are all loans, it will have 25% less contributions for each one. However, making an approximate calculation taking as a reference the 150 euros per minute, it would arrive at a total figure of 1.213.650 euros. The amount, we repeat, is completely indicative and we will have to wait for official communications from the Serie B League to have certain data. At the end of the first half of the season, an update was provided on the progress of the standings which saw Juve Stabia in command ahead of Reggiana and Mantova.

The same should have been reversed with Reggiana first (11.431 minutes) followed by Mantova (11.141) and Juve Stabia (10.806). Carrarese, although not climbing on the podium, will still be classified in a good position. To having achieved a fantastic salvation as a rookie, another objective will be added: the achievement of a conspicuous prize for the minutes played by young players. It is not true, in short, that Carrarese has worked only for others by valorizing the loans of the major Serie A clubs.
