Ferrari, Hamilton and Leclerc in blue and white suits at the Miami GP

The kit's color scheme celebrates a year of relationship with sponsor HP, the Reds are looking for confirmation in Florida after Charles' podium in Arabia, new colors are also expected on the Prancing Horse cars

Miami, April 30 – Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc in blue and white tracksuits, with very few traces of red. They appear like this to Miami, with an unusual colored kit, the pilots of a Ferrari which in Florida on Sunday is trying to consolidate the progress seen in Jeddah. In Arabia, Charles Leclerc has in fact collected the first podium of the season for the Scuderia from Maranello, with the exception of the Sprint won by the Englishman in China. The new colour scheme has a commercial reason, the year of relationship between the Cavallino and the sponsor Hp. It will certainly help to focus even more attention on a highly anticipated team, but one that has certainly performed less than expected so far. Charles, with 47 points, is fifth and more than doubled in points by leader Oscar Piastri, first with McLaren on 99. And things are worse for the English seven-time world champion, now seventh with 31 points. The new color brought by Ferrari for the appointment in the 'Sunshine State' should also partly concern the single-seaters. In last year's GP, the blue had replaced the red on the Halo, on the bonnet and on the aerodynamic appendages. Last year, Lando Norris won the GP in Florida in a McLaren ahead of Max Verstappen in a Red Bull and Leclerc. The Sprint had seen Verstappen prevail over Leclerc and Perez.
