Karate, silver for the New CSKS Prato al Garda Lake with Angino

Prato, 12 May 2025 - Over a thousand athletes from all over Italy met in Castenedolo in recent weeks, as part of the Garda Lake Karate “open” trophy. And in light of Riccardo Angino's performance, Prato ideally climbed to the second step of the podium. The participants challenged each other in kata (forms) or kumite (combat). Angino represented in detail the New CSKS of Prato in the kata specialty of the "Master EF black belts" category.

The elimination phase saw the ten participants follow one another with a series of performances and the karateka from Prato, with a good performance of the kata gojushiho-sho, managed to get into the four finalists. Then he finished with a silver medal, just missing out on the top spot. After the trip to Garda, the Nuovo CSKS competitor resumed training at the Seven Club, with the aim of confirming himself at these levels.
