Lorenzo Ricci triumphs at the 47th Terni Water Marathon

TERNI - The 47th edition of the “Water Marathon” of Terni, with 500 official members, saw the triumph Lorenzo Ricci. The event, organized by Terni Running Amateurs, started from the Passeggiata gardens and saw the participation of the flag-wavers of Amelia. Many teams arrived from outside the region (about 40), with the massive participation of theAthletics Porcari of Lucca with 58 participants.

The victory of the 20 km went to Lorenzo Ricci of Libertas Orvieto who covered the course in 1 hour 24 minutes and 34 seconds. Marvin Perugini of Polisportiva Servigliano ASD placed second with a time of 1 hour 27 minutes and 39 seconds. El Makhrout Cherkaoui of ASD AT Running completed the podium with a time of 1 hour 29 minutes and 40 seconds.

In the women's field, the victory went to Fabiola Cardarelli of #IloverunAthletic Terni who ran the 20 km in 1 hour 43 minutes and 57 seconds. In second place, Lorena Piastra of TX Fitness SSD Arl, at the finish line with a time of 1 hour 50 minutes and 20 seconds. In third place, Federica Ranucci of #IloverunAthletic Terni, who stopped the clock at 1 hour 50 minutes and 45 seconds. In the 10 km, the victory went to Gabriele Frescucci of ASD AT Running who completed the course in 29 minutes and 32 seconds.
