McDonald's Porcari loses ground: Livorno in pole position for promotion play-offs
McDonald's Porcari loses to Casciavola, while Livorno advances towards the promotion play-offs in Serie C.

Grassini, McDonald's Porcari coach
Hopes of seeing the second year in a row are fading McDonald's Porcari conquer the regular season of "C" series. On the parquet of Casciavola, a team that is still very difficult and that is worth more than the ranking achieved so far, the girls of coach Grassini leave the three points that, in all probability, will bring the Bi.Emme Service Volleyball Livorno in pole position for the promotion playoffs.
The match. After a first set in which Porcari doesn't even seem to enter the parquet, lost 25/14, comes the prompt redemption with the same coin, that is to say with a 14/25. At this point the match becomes balanced and the home team will resolve it in their favor with a 25/22 and a 25/20. Livorno, on the other hand, doesn't stop, getting rid of Aglianese 3-0 and neither does Pescia, who takes home the sixth consecutive 3-0, clearly regulating Blu Quarrata. Livorno thus flies to 65 points and now seems irremediably unreachable with three games to go. The Livorno team will play against teams, respectively in seventh, ninth and penultimate place.
Still intact, however, are the chances of conquering at least the second place that Pescia has regained, bringing it to 63 points, two more than Porcari: the two teams, in fact, will be protagonists of a direct clash, next Saturday, on the home parquet of McDonald's.
