MotoGp: Aerodynamic innovations and surprising performances in Jerez tests
Official tests in Jerez: Marquez dominates, Aprilia introduces new winglets, Yamaha and Ducati seek perfection.

Marco Bezzecchi with Aprilia tested a new aerodynamics in Jerez in Spain
Sure that these were the official tests of the MotoGp? Or maybe, Marquez and rivals had made an appointment – yesterday – on the set of a science fiction film? No, no.... not fiction but a solid reality. Maybe projected into the future, maybe (certainly) in search of the perfect performance. The fact is, that the day in Jerez, the one experienced after the triumph of Alex Marquez and the rebirth of Quarterly and Yamaha he gave us some pretty good futuristic pearls.
We take theAprilia. The new, brand new one went on the trackaerodynamics Rs-Gp, the one enriched by the 'Dumbo ears'. Yes, that's right. Aprilia, which at the time had launched the winglets in the fairing area, and therefore on the front, yesterday tested with Bezzecchi the new aerodynamics with two winglets placed on the rear, just above the wheel. Winglets, in fact, that recall the ears of a baby elephant. Alias Dumbo.
Furthermore, Aprilia has also studied a new swingarm, while Ducati – with Marquez – decided to run a Desmosedici with a new chassis, while waiting, let it be clear, for Bagnaia to have his say. Pecco – at the end of the day – however, set a very high time (19'), while Marc was the fastest in the combined time of the double practice session, between morning and afternoon.
First Marquez with the official Ducati, but what is striking is above all the second time of the day that bears the signature of Vinales who in the development of the Ktm is achieving top-level results. Then the confirmation of the restart of Yamaha (third Quartararo and fourth Rins). Further back (tenth) Di Giannantonio with the Ducati of Valentino's team.
