Paolo Paini triumphs at Le Siepi di Cervia: first Italian show jumping title

Thanks to the double zero, the 55 year old knight from Fiorenzuola d'Arda, Piacenza, has overtaken the already titled veteran in the general rankings Emile Bicocchi (Excaliburg), who had taken the lead on the first day of the championship "branded Fope" and who yesterday placed 2nd in the race, obtaining the silver medal (4/4 pen). Bronze to Fabio Brotto (Doha delle Roane), a Venetian rider and breeder with an important international curriculum.

All three horses on the podium are Italian, signifying the growth both in number and quality of our "products", an improvement resulting from a series of investments not only from an economic point of view. Furthermore, the three medalists will participate by right in the historic Csio of Rome-Piazza di Siena/Master Fratelli D'Inzeo, stage of the Rolex Series (21-25 May).

Extrapolated from the Italian ranking, the individual ranking of the inter-force military championship: gold to Bicocchi (Gs Aeronautica), silver and bronze to Michael Cristoforetti (Eic Lloyd) and Luca Coata (Holly Del Rilate), both Fiamme Oro.
