Six Nations 2025, Italy beats Wales 22-15 thanks to Allan's kicks and Capuozzo's try
Italrugby finds its first success in the 2025 tournament by defeating the Welsh team. Positive debut for the Olimpico, and on February 23 France arrives

Rome, 8 February 2025 - Italy of rugby forget the defeat against Scotland beating Wales at the Olympic Stadium in Rome. Quesada's Italian Rugby achieves first success at Six Nations 2025, handing the British a score of 22-15.
Under incessant rain with a stadium packed with fans, both Italian and Welsh, the Azzurri had closed the first half with a 16 to 3 lead over the guests thanks to a try by Ange Capuozzo and four shots placed Thomas Allan.
At the end of the match the so-called is planned Third Half at the Village of House Peroni, with the concert of Carl Brave, the first artist to perform in the Roman days of the Six Nations. On the third day, Sunday 23 February, France will arrive at the Olimpico.

At 19' the Italian goal by Capuozzo in agility, after a great scrum work, a kick by Garbisi on the left wing and Ange is very good at dunking while diving the ball into the goal. And Allan doesn't miss the difficult conversion for 10-3.
Always two kicks of Allan brings the score to 16-3 at the end of the first half. The second half opens with two missed kicks by Allan and one by Page-Relo. With Wales down to 14 men due to Adams' temporary expulsion, Italy goes 19-3 again with Allan. Wales first have a try disallowed, then comes the goal with Wainwright. In the 73rd minute the usual Allan brings the score to 22-8. Wales scores a penalty try (22-15). Italy finishes with 12 men due to a double expulsion, but the Olimpico celebrates.
