A Sunday of great emotions for the Unione Rugby Firenze who takes to the field in the 18th and final day of the Serie A and B championships while the decisive challenges for Serie C and the national under 18 continue. The key match will undoubtedly be that of the First team of Luigi Ferraro and Daniel Lo Valvo, third in the standings with 58 points, who will face the leaders Livorno (15.30) at 78:XNUMX pm in a high-intensity Tuscan derby. In addition to an important match to close out a very positive season in the best possible way - the second for the biancorossoviola in Serie A - it also comes with a historic event; in fact, it will be the last official match at the Lodigiani in Campo di Marte before the start of the renovation work that will keep Florentine rugby away from the main Padovani pitch for a long time.

To celebrate the occasion, the "Saluto alla Tribuna" party was organized: an opportunity for all the people of the lily rugby to share. The day will be enriched by events, youth matches, the corridor of the under at the entrance to the field, the delivery of a tribute to the volunteers, souvenir photos and a convivial moment with veterans and fans. Returning to the derby, in the first leg the Livorno team won 26-10 thanks to greater determination and concreteness but the Florentines left the field with their heads held high for the amount of play built during the entire match, and with the capital performance of Riccardo Chiti, twenty-four years old from Bagno a Ripoli, one of the best.

Last day also for the B team of Francesco Sacrestano, awaited by the away derby (Sesto Fiorentino, 15.30:21 pm) against the Cavalieri Union of Prato. The URF, second to last with 17 points, is preparing for the playouts after a difficult championship. In the first leg, the Prato team won 8-15.30 at Lodigiani: this will be the occasion to close the regular season with pride. Third to last day, instead, for the C team engaged on the field of Tirreno (Cecina, 18:12.30 pm) with the lilies of Claudio Suriano second in the standings and still in the running for first; and second to last for the national under XNUMX of Peppe Sorrentino, who will play in Colorno (XNUMX:XNUMX) to secure third place.
