It is back at the disposal of the Fortitude also Leo Menalus. With the session held yesterday, the Croatian winger of Italian formation also returned to training under the orders of coach Attilio Caja. The native of Split has finally overcome the problems that had blocked him, forcing him to skip the trip to orzinuovi and the subsequent commitment last Sunday against Piacenza. To see Menalo on the pitch again we have to go back to January 11th and the challenge with Cremona, in which the player had a marginal role playing just over 4' and scoring just one free throw after a long previous absence. So far it has been a particularly unlucky season for Menalo, signed in early November, the player was injured at the beginning of December in the match against Piacenza, with a fracture of the base of the nail phalanx that required surgery (one of the 6 operations that Fortitudo players have undergone in total). Back on the field, the Croatian had returned for the match against Juvi Cremona, only to be forced to sit out again due to a new problem. Now Menalo is finally available again, even if with little work on his legs and with 11 seniors at Caja's disposal, at least for Verona, Menalo, barring any last-minute unforeseen events, seems destined for the stands.

The insertion of the Don Thomas. These days have been fundamental for the white-blues to allow Caja and his staff to insert the American power forward into the game mechanisms. Thomas's responses have been decidedly positive, seeing him increasingly involved in the team game and with greater knowledge of his new teammates. For him, in a challenge as difficult as the one with Verona, there will certainly be more space, compared to the meager 2' played with Piacenza last Sunday, when with little more than one training session behind him with Fortitudo it was difficult to ask more of him. In the meantime, this evening at Milan, Urania hosts Cantu, in the advance of the 23rd day of the championship.
