Finally it's getting serious. Ten days after the last challenge in Livorno, the Fortitude is ready to return to the field. Tomorrow the second and decisive round of the play in. At 20,30pm at PalaDozza, Attilio Caja's team will host Pesaro in the challenge that will lead the winner to challenge Cantù in the quarterfinals. The season of Fortitudo and Pesaro is decided in 40'. Whoever wins stays, whoever loses closes, in a failed manner.

Consideration that is valid for both Flats Service and Pesaro, starting to do better. When the going gets tough, the tough get going, the possibilities of appeals are over and with them the justifiable and legitimate alibis. Looking at Fortitudo, it has been a decidedly unlucky season in terms of injuries, with many players involved and forced to stay out of action for a long time. The club of president Stefano Tedeschi has tried to remedy this along the way by returning to the market with mixed fortunes, Menalo and Thomas for different reasons have not been useful additions, the Luca Vencato issue is decidedly different, with the Brescia playmaker an excellent alternative to Fantinelli. Now we are at the decisive moment, coach Caja has recovered almost all of his effects, given that the only absentee is Gherardo Sabatini, even if he has to manage a group that is not very young and with some elements who have confirmed a certain 'stomach ache'.

Pros and cons for tomorrow's match? Fortitudo has the fact that, as mentioned, it has recovered most of its players and, given the postponement of the match, it was able to include them with a few more days available. Added to this is the factor PalaDozzaPlaying a one-off match in front of their home crowd, with tickets on free sale starting today after the pre-emption period reserved for season ticket holders in recent days, is an additional boost for Fantinelli and his teammates who, in the 19 matches played at the Madison in Piazza Azzarita, have suffered 4 defeats, two of which against Cividale and Rimini in their last home matches.

Of the other two defeats, one came in extra time against Torino and finally the last one against Pesaro. The cons of the challenge with the team from the Marche are precisely the precedents with the red and whites who won both in the match at the Vitrifrigo Arena, on 29 December last 82-61 and the second at the PalaDozza on February 16th at 70-71 with a triple in the final minutes by King.
