La Fortitude breathe a sigh of relief. The injury suffered by Peter Aradori during Sunday's match against Avellino. At PalaDelMauro, the Lograto native winger slipped on a patch of sweat at the end of the first quarter, causing a sprained ankle. Visited yesterday afternoon at the Villalba clinic, the tests he underwent confirmed an effusion. Given the championship break, Aradori could return to the field as early as Wednesday 19th in the recovery match against Urania Milano or at most the following Sunday, the 23rd for the home match against Nardò. It was a Sunday to forget for Fortitudo on the field, for Aradori's injury and for the result of the match against the Irpini, but also for what happened before, with the passing of Luca Accardo.

'Acca' passed away suddenly on Sunday, so much so that the members of Gruppo 1932 of which he was a part decided to return to the city without following the challenge of Avellino, with Fossa who silently followed the confrontation at PalaDelMauro as a sign of respect towards the young fan who passed away. Now Matteo Fantinelli and his teammates are waiting for the very useful break to recharge their batteries and recover from ailments and injuries. Meanwhile, the former president of Fortitudo intervened in the Sport Club broadcast on E-tv Christian Pavani who spoke in detail about his experience at the helm of the bianconlù club. "I took my responsibilities, I wanted to leave the company in Serie A, but I couldn't - confirms Pavani - we handed it over to the new owners in Serie A2, but we did a lot, together with Muratori and the Innova group, which also guarantees the payment of debts with a sponsorship surplus: when we arrived in Fortitudo there was nothing".

The former president has words of esteem for the current management. "I will always speak well of the Tedeschi family, I have great respect for Stefano and Andrea. When we decided to sell the company, they were our first interlocutors. With others who had expressed interest in acquiring the shares, we never went all the way, convinced that the choice was the right one". Then he talks about the crisis under his management.

"The years of the pandemic brought us to our knees, we made some mistakes, everyone does, but the lack of revenue, which I believe remains the main sponsor of Fortitudo, even of sponsorships in that period, were very heavy, we were close to bankruptcy. The Metano Nord affair? We were naive, we trusted. The regret? Seeing the about-face of certain people".
