La Fortitude sinks in the play in. Fourth, bitter consecutive defeat for Attilio Caja's team that in the postponed match of the penultimate day of A2 falls in front of a strong-willed Rimini who wins and takes second place. In what was the last challenge at the PalaDozza, in front of their own people, the white and blues fall again and see their path become even more difficult, which now, with one round to go, sees Fortitudo tenth and from which a possible victory next Sunday in Livorno with Libertas might not be enough, if not linked to favorable results from the other fields. With Rimini Pietro is back at your disposal Aradori and Luca Vencato, with the latter who, thanks to yet another setback in a decidedly unlucky season, immediately goes into the starting five. In fact, captain Matteo Fantinelli is missing, forced to miss the match against the Romagnoli due to pubalgia that has worsened in recent days.

Balanced start, Rimini tries to break away a couple of times, but Effe, with Mian and Freeman responds blow for blow and at the buzzer of the first quarter a triple from half court by Panni makes it 27-26.

The challenge continues point by point in the second half of the game, with the maximum advantage on 36-41 guests. Aradori with two triples keeps Effe under; Cusin is an important factor on both sides of the court, but at half time a solid and precise Rimini is ahead by 3. The challenge changes completely in the second half.

Bolpin opens with a 4-point play, then Aradori takes care of it with 15 points in the quarter, and Fortitudo with a 16-2 partial takes the lead 58-47 at 27'.

Aradori still keeps Fortitudo ahead, but on the other side Rimini does not give up, with two triples by Grande that reduce the gap.

At 34' Effe ahead 72-64, but Rimini exploiting Johnson and the long distance shot turns the score to 73-74. Effe is no longer there and the prolonged Bologna breakdown launches the Romagnoli ahead 73-76 with 2'12" to go. Two triples by Marini then close the accounts.
