Report cards. Freeman, lots of heart and rebounds
Aradori doesn't miss a beat. Bolpin shows his muscles. Fantinelli towers. And Mian is an added value.
Thomas 6,5 (in 20' 2/5 from two, 0/1 from three, 1/2 from free throws, 6 rebounds, one steal, one turnover, one assist). He tries to put in grit, energy, verticality. He succeeds in an alternating way so much so that Caja prefers Mian as tactical four.
Vencato 6 (in 12' 1/2 from two, one rebound, one assist). Less incisive than in other performances, he is still a good alternative in place of Fantinelli in leading the team.
Aradori 7,5 (in 30' 3/4 two-pointers, 3/9 three-pointers, 2/2 free throws, 2 rebounds, one steal, one turnover). Heart and character. He struggles a bit in defense, true, but he confirms himself as an essential basket machine.
Battistini 6 (in 6' 0/1 from two, 3 rebounds, 2 turnovers). He doesn't turn. Unlike Verona, this wasn't his game.
Bolpin 7,5 (in 33' 2/7 from two, 3/5 from three, 2/4 from free throws, 3 rebounds, one steal, 2 turnovers, 5 assists, one block). Offensively excellent protagonist, in defense he crosses paths with the opposing point guards with equally excellent results, in what is his trademark.
Panni 6 (in 7' 1/2 from three). Important contribution in the minutes in which Caja calls him on the field.
Cusin 6,5 (in 7' 1/2 from two, 2/2 from free throws, one assist). A few scraps of play to give Freeman some breathing space and he does it with his usual experience and great quality.
Mian 7 (in 24' 1/4 from two, 3/6 from three, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists). He is perhaps more popular as a tactical four than as a small forward. Not very high percentages, but grit, heart and important baskets testify to his quality and value.
Fantinelli 7,5 (in 28' 1/2 from two, 0/1 from three, 2/4 from free throws, 2 rebounds, one steal, 3 turnovers, 12 assists). Moraschini or Mc Gee makes no difference in defense he is extraordinary. In attack he reaches the now usual, but far from common, double digit of assists, sorry if it's not enough.
Freeman 8 (in 33' 5/7 from two, 3/3 from the free throw line, 15 rebounds, one steal, 2 turnovers, 2 blocks). He dozed off a bit in the first quarter then stepped up his game on defense with blocks and rebounds, but also on offense with his decisive points for the comeback and the white-blue victory.
