Fortitudo Bologna, Della Rosa also arrives: he ensures points, assists, direction and leadership

Bologna, 20 June 2025 - The new Fortitudo takes shape. After having effectively dismissed all the veterans of the previous season - with the exception of captain Matteo Fantinelli - the Eagle has begun to get to grips with the new team.

And in a week three announcements have arrived. The first one is that of Flavio Portaluppi, the giemme, who had already worked with Attilio Caja, first in Milan and then in Cremona.

The second one is the along Lorenzo Benvenuti, from Cento. The third, the freshest, Gianluca Della Rosa. We are talking about the twenty-eight year old captain of Pistoia. Della Rosa had already been in Fortitudo's sights, but the Apennines had never been crossed.

The pressing continued and Gianluca left Pistoia and his brother (who will be the new coach) for an adventure in white and blue. He remains 180 centimeters, Della Rosa ensures points, assists, direction and above all leadership. An experienced element for a team like Stefano Tedeschi's Fortitudo who has high-level ambitions after reaching the promotion final in 2024 and the quarter-finals with Cantù (later promoted to Serie A) last year.
