The hottest negotiation is the one under the basket with Devin Booker, only namesake of the even more famous Phoenix Suns ace who however was in Milan for a few months during the time of his father Melvin in red and white in 98-99 and 2007-08. He is a very different player, a 205 cm pivot who has played in the EuroLeague continuously since 2018 wearing the jerseys of Bayern, Khimki and Fenerbahce, and in the last Bavarian season, despite his 34 years, he played his best year traveling at 14.6 points and 4.7 rebounds in a playoff team. Potentially an explosive mix paired with Josh Nebo who, given his unfortunate season marked by injuries, practically becomes a new top-level acquisition given what he has shown in the Maccabi jersey. An ambitious team, with a large budget, that must climb the rankings and is often also linked to negotiations with players and their agencies that sometimes play the game of parts generating an auction that raises their contracts to monstrous figures: this is the case of Jabari Parker who, out of the game in Barcelona, ​​should continue his European career at Partizan Belgrade.

For Olimpia, in the role to share at power forward with Zach LeDay, a couple of other names have also been made from Spain, the Dominican Tyson Perez who played well this year in Malaga, and the Spaniard Jaime Padrilla who is currently playing the final of the Liga with his Valencia.
