Trento - The Olympia Milan immediately struck its blow, conquering Trento in a sprint 70-73 and takes the home court advantage now in their favor. It was a battle, a shocking start down (16-2) made it even more complex, but in the end the Milanese made their greater experience count. The LeDay-Mirotic duo still makes the difference, the American scores 16 and is decisive in the final, the Montenegrin is the most consistent with 13 to which he adds 8 rebounds. The playoffs began with the decision to bring both Brooks and Causeur into the team, to the detriment of Bolmaro, while on the court the very first basket is by Nebo. The problem for Milan is that the response is 8 consecutive points by Lamb, then another 8 assorted and the 16-0 break is served. Armani's reaction, however, comes immediately so much so that at the end of the quarter is in contact (22-21 at 9') with LeDay and Mirotic. The score repeats itself, Trento runs away (32-24), Milan recovers and overtakes with Mannion's raids (34-35) and it is with the same play that he also signs the first escape on 39-46 at 20'. It seems incredible, but it still works the same way with another 10-2 break that brings Trento back in front (49-48). At the last 10' the score is tied at 55, Milan loses Nebo due to a physical problem at 33' (for 8 points and 9 rebounds), but Shields still keeps Armani ahead 61-62, then LeDay hits from the 3-point arc and attacks the rim thus shifting the inertia (61-67 at 36'). It's not enough, Trento is very much alive, it reaches -1 with Niang (66-67). EA7 can close it from the free throw line, but it scores a 4/8 that risks ruining everything, but at least in defense it is solid and can celebrate when Trento misses the last shot.

Back on the field on Monday 19th May for Game 2, again in Trento. Tomorrow there will be news on the new injury that occurred to Nebo (adductor problem), but it is unlikely that he will be back on the field.
