Virtus Bologna: Preparations for the Scudetto Final, Clyburn and Polonara in Doubt

A Sunday of well-deserved rest, but starting today Virtus is back to business, in the gym at Porelli to prepare for the championship final series that will start on Thursday evening. After the victory in game 4 and the return from Milan, the team welcomed by its fans during the night at Porelli, had twenty-four hours of well-deserved rest from coach Dusko Ivanovic.

From today we return to the field, all or almost all with game 1 of the final in mind. In fact, it remains to be understood the condition and possible use of both Will Clyburn and Achille Polonara, out in the double challenge in Milan. Clyburn is monitored daily and will be re-evaluated in the next few days, with the hope of being able to recover and at least bring him to the report: but much will depend on how the player will be able to react to the therapies he is undergoing.

The situation is more complicated for Polonara, for whom there are fewer hopes of seeing him on the pitch against Brescia and who might need a little more time to return to Ivanovic's disposal.

On the ticket front, the black and white fans are currently responding very well in view of the two matches scheduled at the Segafredo Arena.
