Virtus bids farewell to Justin Holiday and plans future with Ronci and Ivanovic
Virtus Bologna parts ways with Justin Holiday and evaluates new additions for the league and Euroleague.

Ivanovic draws a scheme under the eyes of Polonara and Cordinier (Ciamillo)
Bye bye Justin. The Virtus takes leave of Holiday with a (expected) press release: the ball, now, waiting for Sunday's match, is back in the hands of Paolo Ronci.
The Juventus general manager, who has never lost sight of the market, evaluates, in agreement with the technical staff, the possibility of making a new signing.
Grafting, if Virtus were to get everything in a relatively short time, who will have different characteristics than Holiday. Justin, beyond the fluctuating performance (increased in recent outings), had been hired as an alter ego of the injured Clyburn. The impression is that Ivanovic, in his strategies, has in mind a relay between Will and captain Belinelli and, perhaps, looks for someone in the direction who can also give a hand in the guard position, guaranteeing points.
We'll see. In the meantime, a solid starting point, in view of the last month and a half of championship, there is: Virtus has found a balance that until mid-March seemed like a pipe dream.
The team defends with greater intensity and attacks with more reason - the number of lost balls, which had been the Achilles heel of recent seasons, has decreased -: the last two games, with Scafati in Campania and Trapani, at the Segafredo Arena, should allow Virtus to start in pole position in the sprint for the championship. Pole position does not mean a guaranteed victory, but a slightly easier path, yes. And this is the penultimate goal (before the playoff) that Virtus has set itself, to look far ahead.
Given that the Euroleague is in full playoff mode (Fenerbahce already qualified for the final four in Abu Dhabi), Virtus continues to work, especially in perspective, on other tables. The works at the Fair (Pavilion 35) for the construction of a sports hall that has all the parameters imposed by theEuroleague (parameters that do not apply to Monaco) go ahead. The club, moreover, would be supported by a half promise (perhaps something more) to expand the number of participants to 20, which would allow to satisfy the expectations of all, including Black V.
But the black V, precisely, must look forward: the brand Segafredo from next year it will no longer be there and the managers, as Massimo Zanetti himself had announced, at the time of Ivanovic's confirmation, are sifting through the market to find a brand that can satisfy everyone. Those who want to see their name on the black and white jerseys and the budgetary needs of the Two Towers club.
