The former Juventus player Massimo Paci starts driving again Lumezzane in the northern circle of series C. He is the coach chosen by the rossoblù club to try to achieve the salvation after the dismissal of FranziniThe 46-year-old has already directed his first training session with the team and is preparing for the debut match on Sunday which will see him challenge at home against Caldiero Terme (start at 17.30). The coach has signed a contract with the Lombard club until the end of the current season. He will be joined by assistant Roberto Guana, also formerly of Ascoli, and assistant Mauro Balestrini. In his coaching career, Paci led Civitanovese to Eccellenza in 2016 and then led Montegiorgio to promotion to D in the 2017-18 season. In 2019 he was called to lead Forlì, finishing eighth with the best defense in the group. Experiences followed with Teramo in C, Pordenone in B, then Pro Vercelli and Pro Sesto. Paci played for Picchio in Serie A in the 2005-06 championship, making 31 appearances and scoring 3 goals.
