Atalanta also loses Cuadrado: season over due to a thigh muscle injury
The 37-year-old Colombian closed his season with 31 appearances and 4 assists. Against Monza he suffered an injury that kept him out for about a month

Juan Cuadrado
Bergamo, 8 May 2025 – It ended early Juan Cuadrado's season. And maybe even his adventure with Atalanta and his long Italian experience which led him to wear the shirts of Lecce, Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter.
The 37-year-old Colombian full-back, came out limping Sunday in Monza, subjected to a series of diagnostic tests, he reported a first degree injury to the biceps femoris of the right thigh. Injury has sidelined him for about a month.
The South American winger born in 1988 he will therefore miss the last three days of the championship. Cuadrado closed his Atalanta season with 31 appearances and 4 assists, without ever scoring, playing just 1154 minutes, the equivalent of a dozen full games. Arrived as a free agent, on a free transfer, in August, the Colombian, despite almost never playing as a starter, gave his contribution of experience and quality as 'offensive troublemaker' in some European matches and in some high-level challenges such as the one won in March at Juventus' home. It's unlikely that Cuadrado will remain in Bergamo (it will also depend on Gasperini's permanence on the Nerazzurri bench) or in Italian football: his career at 37 years old could continue in Arabia or in an American championship.
