Atalanta resumes without 11 internationals. Gasp: "The Scudetto dream is not over"

Bergamo, 18 March 2025 - Two days of rest to lick the wounds after the home defeat against Inter. Tomorrow afternoon Atalanta will meet at the sports centre in zingonia in reduced ranks, without 11 nationals, to resume training and start again.

They will be missing from Gasperini's roll call, at least until next Monday: The Ketelaere (Belgium), Djimsiti (Albania), Hien (Sweden), Kolasinac (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Lookman (Nigeria), Pasalic (Croatia), Samardzic (Serbia) and the blues Maldini, Retegui e Ruggeri Besides Gym called up by the under 21s.

Some of the boys from the team will also be missing. under 23 in Serie C, like the bomber Vanja Vlahovic (Serbia U21), three appearances in the first team.

I dream of the championship

The dream of the Scudetto, three points behind Napoli and six behind league leaders Inter, with nine games to go and 27 points available, has not yet vanished for the Nerazzurri, as Gasperini himself explained on Sunday evening.

The coach hopes to recover the three players during this break injured, all for muscle injuries: Posh, Suleman e Square. When the game resumes, on Sunday 30th on the Fiorentina pitch, he will be missing Ederson, sent off on Sunday and therefore disqualified.
