Scamacca, lesion to the rectus femoris: Atalanta trembles
The Roman striker was injured against Torino and now risks tendon surgery. Kolasinac will be out for three weeks

Gianluca Scamacca in the match against Torino in which he was injured again
Bergamo, 3 February 2025 - Another long stop is expected for Gianluca scamacca. The in-depth diagnostic tests that the 26-year-old Roman centre-forward, who left the match limping, underwent this morning Saturday against Turin for a problem at quadriceps, highlighted a lesion of the musculotendinous junction of the right rectus femoris.
Atalanta has announced that the player is awaiting a specialist evaluation. In the next few hours Scamacca will probably be visited by a tendon specialist, probably Professor Ramon Cugat, in Barcelona, the same doctor who in the recent past treated Zapata, victim of the same injury in 2022, and operated a year ago El Bilal Toure' and a few weeks ago Odilon Kossounou.
Risk
It remains to be seen whether or not surgery is necessary: in the second case, the Lazio striker's season would be substantially over. We will know more in the next few hours. Scamacca is certainly there, having returned on Saturday at the end of the season against Torino, surprisingly, a few weeks earlier than expected, just 178 days after his rupture of the cruciate ligament occurred on August 4th, with surgery the following day, he will be out for a long time.
Better news for the other two injured Nerazzurri players. For the goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi there is a low-grade fascial lesion of the right adductor longus, while for the defender Sead Kolasinac This is a first degree lesion of the right biceps femoris, with a recovery forecast of around twenty days.
