Bologna, 18 October 2024 – The Bologna of Vincenzo Italiano is working on returning to the field after the break for the Nations League. The rossoblù will be playing on Saturday 19th at 15pm in Marassi against Genoa, in an important match to try and secure the second victory seasonal.

A match that in addition to its sporting value will also have an important emotional meaning, a story of crossed destinies which is linked to the Bologna of the recent past and in particular to Sinisa Mihajlović. In fact, among the ranks of the Grifone there is Alessandro Vogliacco, husband of Virginia Mihajlovic, daughter of the unforgettable Bologna coach who less than a month ago gave birth Leo Sinisa.

An important second name for the newborn, a tribute to the grandfather who unfortunately he will never meet in person but who everyone hopes will keep alive the strength of spirit that distinguished the former Serbian player and coach until the end. A superhero like his grandfather, he had defined it Ariadne Rapaccioni, Sinisa's wife, last September 10th on the occasion of his birth, with Virginia herself who had explained the reasons for this choice: "We thought about it, I wanted it to have a meaning that reminded me of my father. The name Sinisa was forbidden by my brothers, especially my older brother who told me 'Forget the name Sinisa because that's mine'. He wanted to call him Sinisa Mihaijlovic one day, so we chose Leone Sinisa Vogliacco. Leone has always been my favorite name, combined with my father's name I liked the meaning".

Alessandro Vogliacco will be almost certainly on the pitch in Gilardino's eleven to face Bologna, he who last August after the goal against Inter had actually remembered his father-in-law Sinisa, confessing that he often thinks of him: "I dedicate this network to my family and Sinisa, who I often think about” he said after the match at Marassi against the Italian champions. And so the match against the Ligurians takes on a different flavour, with the spirit and figure of Sinisa ready to ideally unite the two rossoblù teams.
