Over a hundred fans awaited the night return of the rossoblù to Casteldebole. "Incredible, this Bologna is stronger than a year ago"

A dream that goes beyond all expectations. As demonstrated by the over one hundred fans who waited until late at night for the team to return to Casteldebole to thank them. For this dream, precisely. This is the word that rises in unison from every latitude of the Bologna red and blue. From the province to the Two Towers all the fans agree, without ifs and buts: the team of Vincenzo Italiano he's doing something incredible that perhaps few expected.

"To say that the Italian Cup semifinal it's a dream is an understatement - says Paolo Cornetti - For those of our generation it is quite epochal. Those of us born in the 90s barely remember that semi-final with Fiorentina in '99 or that of the UEFA Cup with Marseille. We remember the years of suffering much better. Obviously we will have to deal with the opponents, but however it goes we are witnessing something fantastic. And Skorupski also said it after the match 'We are strong'. And with this mentality, however it goes it will be a success".

For Michela Bianchi, the rossoblù is a family affair, a passion inherited and shared with her husband: "I grew up watching Bologna matches on home TV. We were under the rain in Empoli last year and then in the square to rejoice for the Champions League, but we also suffered many times in the stands. Italiano has left a very specific mark, with Castro who hasn't made us miss Zirkzee. We've been used to everything, we keep our feet on the ground but we certainly don't want to stop dreaming now".

There are those who have also lived this dream around Europe this year, like Lucio Schiavina: "It's been a wonderful season so far, I will always carry the trips to Liverpool and Lisbon in my heart. I would like to reach the final of the Coppa Italia and maybe return to the Champions League to experience more nights like this".

Nicola Ceresi then looks even deeper, seeking the reasons for this success: "I would never have thought that last year's team could improve. In the locker room, however, something clicked, there is a mentality that perhaps only 2-3 teams have now and that has allowed us to accomplish another feat: we have a non-possession phase that makes the difference, high pressing and verticalizations with the right timing. A remarkable psychological strength that has transformed some players, like Lykogiannis. Castro's tears struck me, congratulations to the boys and the club".

An opinion also shared by Mattia Barbieri: "We are working to become a big team. There is a solid project, now we are masters of our destiny. Without fear we can go far". Andrea Neri's romantic conclusion then best encapsulates technical thoughts and emotions: "These are things that we were not used to for a long time as fans and it's nice because you always feel this sensation, in the city, in the bars and even at work. The boys and Italiano are bringing us back to the top". And if dreaming in the end costs nothing, with shining eyes everyone agrees in shouting in unison "Thank you rossoblù and forza Bologna".
