Brescia, 19 May 2025 – Massimo cellino he had said it just yesterday: “We have been scammed”. Three words to explain the chaos, between the administrative and the sporting, that yesterday overwhelmed Brescia Calcio, pushing the team back to risk of relegation to C and even imposing a sort of protection for the owner himself because of the furious fans. Today comes the countermove, as proof of the accusation launched: Brescia Calcio has filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office against the Milanese company based in Via Montenapoleone from which the team ensures that you have purchased 20% discounted tax credits to pay the contributions relating to November, December, January and February for over 1 million and 400 thousand euros which for the Revenue Agency are however non-existent.

But as said, Cellino believes he was scammed and his lawyers - who are preparing an appeal to the Federal Prosecutor's Office to avoid penalties and therefore relegation to Serie C - they ensure that they have the accounting records of the payments made. In the meantime, the Brescia Public Prosecutor's Office is also evaluating the matter with the hypothesis that it was an undue compensation.

But, as mentioned, the climate in the city is tense. Yesterday afternoon a small crowd of angry fans and ultras gathered outside the headquarters, in via Solferino, to shout out their fury by chanting against the president Massimo Cellino, who has been disliked for a long time, and unfurling banners. Law enforcement They monitor the club's headquarters in the city centre, but also the sports centre in Torbole Casaglia and the home of President Massimo Cellino. This evening the organized fans have scheduled a demonstration for 20 pm outside the Palazzo della Loggia, the seat of the Municipality.
