The mobilization to keep professional football in the city of Brescia has begun. On one hand, there is the attempt by the Municipality that has brought together the three Brescia C series clubs with the hope of identifying the new team that will be able to play at the “Rigamonti” next season. Lumezzane has reiterated that it wants to continue the path linked to its territory, while Giuseppe Pasini, president of FeralpiSalò, could land in the city, realizing that desire that in the B season had been thwarted by Cellino himself. The transfer of the sports title to Brescia, however, involves some problems to be solved (in addition to leaving Salò without football). The ultras have already said they are against any merger, an act that would lead to the creation of a new sports entity. Ruling out the FeralpiBrescia hypothesis right from the start, the possible name of the new club that would wear the white and blue could be Leonessa or Brixia, given that Brescia FC is still owned by Cellino (who has until June 24 to decide to restart his creation even just from the Eccellenza). With Ospitaletto waiting, it remains to be seen whether the potential of the Feralpi group and Pasini will be enough to attract to this adventure even those entrepreneurs from Brescia who remain very cold in the face of such a hypothesis.
