Brescia – Once again the recovery proves fatal for the Brescia, which is achieved on 1-1 from Cosenza in the third of the 4 minutes of recovery granted by the referee. In an instant the Swallows pass by like this joy for a victory that would have been fundamental to the disappointment of yet another mockery of a draw that is of no use to anyone, given that it further diminishes the hopes of a comeback and salvation for the Calabrians and maintains the Maran team in a more than delicate position. In short, the match of the “San Vito – Marulla” sees a substantially balanced first half, even if the guests manage to go to the break in the lead thanks to the incredible own goal by Florenzi, who in an attempt to clear his area in advance of Borrelli, hurls a dry shot behind Micai.

In addition to a strictness long and in vain complained for a touch of a rossoblù defender with his arm, there is however a very important flaw that accompanies mister Maran's team to the break, forced to play with a numerical inferiority from the 38th minute for the expulsion of Cistana, who receives a straight red card for a dangerous tackle. Cosenza, bottom of the table, therefore plays all the cards at its disposal to try to turn the situation around.

Brescia tries to sting in turn up front, but, as the minutes pass, the action of the home team becomes more and more pressing, even if the conclusions of the rossoblù lack the necessary concreteness and the main scare for Lezzerini comes in the 16th minute, when a shot by Mazzocchi touches the crossbar. Despite the forcing of the Calabrians and the numerical inferiority, the Rondinelle seem able to bring home the victory, but at the end of the recovery there is still bitterness for Maran's team (whose position on the bench has started to falter again). It's the 48th minute, the penultimate minute of the match, when after a back and forth in the white and blue area the ball reaches Zilli who scores the goal for the final 1-1 which inflicts a very hard blow to Brescia's hopes of salvation and at this point the Easter Monday challenge with the Reggiana will be literally decisive for the fate of the Rondinelle and mister Maran.
