Brescia does not stop Pisa's flight: Rondinelle defeated 2-1. At Cittadella's home it will be a "play-off for salvation"
In the race of many exes, despite the good will, Maran's team surrenders to the qualities of the Nerazzurri, ever closer to direct promotion to Serie A

Brescia - Pisa
Brescia – Il Brescia tries to fight with generosity (even against the hail), but has to surrender to the will to win of the quoted Pisa, which is carried just three points away from Serie A. The situation at home for the Rondinelle is completely different, as they remain trapped in the group at 35 points, suspended between play-offs and direct relegation with four games still to go. The position of Maran's team is becoming increasingly delicate, as they are forced to go and win the “play-off for salvation” at Cittadella's home, the only result available to Bisoli (who made his 309th appearance in white and blue) and his teammates to avoid slipping dangerously towards Serie C.
As regards the match at the “Rigamonti” with the Tuscans of many exes (from mister Inzaghi to the author of the guests' advantage, Matteo Tramoni, up to including Moreo, Caracciolo, Calabresi and Castellini), the hosts start with good will, but the Nerazzurri take only a few minutes to make the weight of their qualities count. After only 3' Meister anticipates the local defense and breaks the deadlock, but after a long consultation, the referee decides to disallow the goal for a foul by Calabresi. Brescia's relief lasts only a few minutes, however, and in the 13th minute the goal for 1-0 scored by former player Matteo Tramoni is valid and forces the Rondinelle into a difficult chase.
Brescia, thanks above all to a couple of plays by Galazzi, tries to react, but Pisa closes all gaps well and after the resumption of play (suspended 8' due to a hailstorm) comes close to doubling the score. The script of the match does not change in the second half, with Maran's team, also an ex on duty, trying to reach parity, but does not sting. The result remains unchanged until the 34th minute, when Touré scores the doubling that prematurely seals the victory. The Rondinelle try not to give up, but are unable to go beyond the goal of the definitive 2-1 by Juric in the 4th and last minute of injury time which is not enough to avoid a defeat that increases the fears in the Brescia home team.
