Barring any surprises in the next few hours, for the Brescia and for the permanence of Roland Maran On the white and blue bench the away match on Saturday will be decisive Frosinone. The whistle-filled draw at the “Rigamonti“ with Cesena and the prolonged drought from victory (four months have now passed since the 1-0 on November 3rd at Marassi against Sampdoria) have complicated the position of the Rondinelle quite a bit, who now find themselves with only one point of advantage both on the playouts and on direct relegation. In this sense, the direct duel at the home of the Ciociari has the value of a test without the possibility of appeal.

In the last few hours Brescia has not released any official press release, but the president Massimo cellino is considerably annoyed by the turn things have taken. As had already happened the previous week after the defeat suffered in Palermo, the white and blue top manager, at the end of the colorless home draw with the Romagnoli, has long pondered the possibility of sacking Maran again. For the moment, however, president Cellino, who also criticizes his coach for being too fearful, seems inclined to grant Maran one last chance.

A choice not dictated by patience, but by the fact that Brescia currently has two coaches under contract. In addition to the current coach (tied to the Rondinelle until 2026), the relationship with Pierpaolo Bisoli is still in place, who Cellino does not intend to recall. The idea would therefore be to eventually focus on a new coach, but he would be the third on the payroll and a reliable coach would have to be found who is at the same time willing to settle for a contract until the end of the season.

Reflections that are linked to the outcome of the challenge that on Saturday 15th will take Brescia to the home of a Frosinone that is more than determined to abandon the direct relegation zone, to the detriment of the Rondinelle. Although aware of the delicacy of the moment and the importance of the away match in Ciociaria, which will be followed by the break, Maran reiterated that he is focused on work and on the task of relaunching his team: "I am ready to prepare for the match with Frosinone with all the enthusiasm and with the utmost attention - the Trentino coach underlined - The problem is that we hurt ourselves and at the first hitch we run into difficulty. We must free our minds and play as we have shown we can do". If Brescia were to fail to do so, the situation is destined to worsen.
