A moment from Carrarese-Cremonese: a game full of emotions that ends 2-2

Carrara, 1 March 2025 – Throw away victory Carrarese: at home against Cremonese, Calabro's team sees the three points stolen in the final minutes, with the goal for the final 2-2 coming three minutes from the end of the second half. Mister Calabro at the Stadio dei Marmi does not give up on the three strikers, fielding a first-choice player Torregrossa alongside Cherubini and Finotto.

First half all of Cremonese who takes the lead with a touch under measure by Zanimacchia on a perfect cross by Nasti (12'). On this occasion Carrarese is surprised with its defense deployed. The Lombards even come close to doubling the score. Then the total trend reversal. At 25' Illanes heads a ball back into the area that Torregrossa turns into an assist for Finotto's goal. The match has changed, with Cremon no longer able to sting. Carrarese gains confidence and at 42' Cherubini takes advantage of a header from Guarino, dribbles past Antov and scores with a great right-footed shot.

The guests did not create much but in the 82nd minute on a cross from Azzi for the equaliser, Johnsen's header was enough to anticipate Fiorillo's late exit. In injury time (93') De Luca with his head he could have signed the overtaking but this time Fiorillo is there.
