Bologna, 2 October 2023 - The great spectacle of the European and Serie A cups is back Champions League. Between Tuesday 3 October and Wednesday 4 there will be sixteen matches to be enjoyed and also with big matches of great tradition and emblem, with four Italian teams involved and awaiting fascinating and difficult matches. Not to be missed Napoli- Real Madrid, Dortmund-Milan, Inter-Benfica e Celtic-Lazio, all four already important matches with a view to qualifying for the round of 16. The first day left a lot of uncertainty in several groups, especially in those where our teams are involved, while the big European teams have already sent some signs of strength. Let's see the situation group by group and the TV times for the second day of matches.

group A

In the first round, for the moment, the leader is Bayern Monaco alone with three points thanks to the daring home victory over Manchester United 4-3, with the Bavarians awaiting the difficult trip to Copenhagen, while the Danes scored two by two on their debut in Istanbul against Galatasaray, also with some recriminations. It is precisely the Turks, also at one point, who will visit the Red Devils who already need to get three points so as not to miss the train.

group B

Group B was also balanced with the Arsenal in the lead with three points, clear victory against PSV in the first, with Lens e Seville to one (1-1 in Spain). The Gunners will visit French vice-champions Lens, a match that is not at all predictable, while Europa League winners Sevilla will be on stage in the Netherlands in Eindhoven.

group C

In Group C on the first day things went in favor of the predictions of the two strongest teams. The Napoli conquered Braga, with difficulty, but Garcia's team is recovering, while Real suffered and was beaten at the Bernabeu the Union Berlin by Bonucci for one to zero. The second round will be interesting, Ancelotti's Real will be at Maradona while Union will host Braga.

Group D

Watch out for Group D of Inter. Inzaghi's Nerazzurri suffered in San Sebastian and drew one to one, with a goal from Lautaro saving the match, while the Salzburg, perhaps a little surprisingly, conquered Lisbon with a score of zero to two Benfica. The Austrians therefore lead with four points and will host Real Sociedad, while for Inter three points against Benfica at San Siro become almost obligatory.

Group E

The goal of Provedel when it expires it will remain in the annals but could become fundamental for the Lazio of Sarri in the race to the round of 16. Having stopped Atletico Madrid internally was important because now for Lazio there is a trip to Glasgow against Celtic, perhaps the weakest team in the group and defeated two-nil in the Netherlands by Feyenoord. The Colchoneros will host the Dutch at the top of the Eredivisie.

Group F

Very tough group for the Milan who risks having left an opportunity against the on the way Newcastle to the first. Many chances but only for 0-0 while the psg beat 2-0 in Paris Dortmund. In the second round, Milan will face the German yellow wall, while Mbappé and his teammates will visit Newcastle.

Group G

Everything according to prediction in Group G where City e Leipzig they should reign supreme. Three to one for the citizens against Red Star in the first match, zero to two for the Germans against Young Boys. Now the match between the top two will be played in Leipzig, while the Swiss and Serbians will face each other in Belgrade.

Group H

Even in Group H the first day saw the favorites win. The Barcelona demolished Antwerp five-nil at the Camp Nou, while the Harbour they passed one to three away against Shaktar. In Portugal there will be a challenge between the top two, while Antwerp-Shaktar will decide which of the two can still have a chance.
