The five Italian teams return to the field for their respective objectives, big match for Inter and Milan (Arsenal and Real), Bologna tries to relaunch itself against Monaco

Simone Inzaghi
Bologna, 4 November 2024 – The show of the Champions League and the five Italian teams will try to get important points for their respective objectives. The standings are still short, because there are only two teams with full points, Aston Villa and Liverpool at 9 points, while the first team in Serie A is Inter with seventh place at 7 points, the result of victories against Red Star and Young Boys and an excellent draw in Manchester. Also in the running for the first eight places are Juve, which is fourteenth but only three points away from the top, and Atalanta, which is at 5 points following the draw against Celtic. Bologna e Milan, instead, will first have to take care of staying in the 24 for the play-off rounds. The Rossoneri have three points and are twenty-fifth, the Rossoblu only one, a draw with Shakhtar, but with a difficult schedule given the two consecutive away games against the leaders with as many defeats. It will have to be a day of important points not only for the competition but also for the ranking.
The matches and the big matches
For Serie A there are two very juicy matches to test themselves. A stellar challenge between two of the most successful clubs in the world at the Santiago Bernabeu where the Real of Ancelotti hosts the Milan by Fonseca. A thrilling but very difficult match for the Red Devils who are even at risk of elimination today. Another very fascinating challenge is the one at San Siro, with Inter of Inzaghi who hosts the Arsenal Arteta, a direct clash for the first eight places given that both teams are on 7 points. A tough match also for the Juve of Motta, who visits the Lille by Jonathan David, the summer transfer dream for the attack. Atalanta, instead, will try to get back on track for the round of 16 by visiting one Stuttgart returning from the sack of Turin. Finally, the Bologna. The double away trip to England, Aston and Liverpool, was very difficult, but the rossoblù came out with their heads held high and now they need a victory to have hope. At Dall'Ara comes the Monaco.
