Champions League Final 2027: After Milan, Rome Says No

No Italian city has submitted a candidacy to host the final act of the event: UEFA itself has announced this

After Milan, also Rome withdraws from the bid to host the final of Champions League 2027, thus reducing the choice to Baku e Madrid. This was confirmed by the Uefa, explaining that he had only received proposals from Azerbaijan e Spain with a Baku Olympic Stadium e the Metropolitan Stadium.

 "The declarations of interest are non-binding and the final proposals must be submitted together with the bid dossiers by 19 March 2025," UEFA explained in a statement. Executive committee UEFA will nominate the host associations for the two finals in May 2025. The bid procedure for the selection of the venues to host the 2027 UEFA club competition finals was launched on 30 September 2024, with a deadline of 21 October 2024 for interested associations to express their interest. 

For the occasion from Nyon they also made official the nominations for the final of UEFA Women's Champions League with Warsaw, Barcelona, Basel e Cardiff which will aim to host the most important event of the European women's movement.
