Pep Guardiola showed up with visible scratches on his head and face after the Manchester City-Feyenoord Champions League match, and when asked by reporters after the 3-3 comeback and the victory that has now been missing for six games for the Citizens, he said he "wanted to hurt himself". A reaction that sparked controversy, silenced by the former Barcelona coach (pictured) with an apology on social media: "I was taken by surprise, I explained that the scratch had been accidentally caused by a sharp nail. My response was in no way intended to diminish the very serious problem of self-harm".
