Marko Arnautovic and Federico Dimarco will not play in Manchester: Inzaghi has some worries
Milan – Inter lose two players ahead of the away game on Wednesday evening at 21pm Manchester at City's home. In fact, there were no players present at this morning's training session at the Nerazzurri sports centre in Appiano Gentile Federico Dimarco and Marko ArnautovicThe first one suffered a muscle fatigue to the right thigh flexors, nothing serious but he won't make it to the challenge of Champions League. The target for the left-back, who should be replaced as the "fifth" midfielder by Carlos Augusto with Bastoni's return to defense, will be to recover in time for the Derby della Madonnina on Sunday 22 September.
As for the Austrian, however, the player woke up this morning with a high fever, which is why he is not present in the group at Appiano. He will also miss the trip to England and will start thinking about next weekend's derby, although he was not a candidate for a starting shirt in the challenge against Guardiola's men.
A match in which Inzaghi should give a starting shirt back to the players he rested in Monza: Acerbi and the aforementioned Bastoni in defense, Dumfries in midfield on the right (the Dutchman came on as a substitute during the match at the U-Power Stadium, also scoring the equaliser), Barella and Calhanoglu in the middle. Lautaro and Thuram confirmed up front, although both played in Monza without managing to make an impact.
