Pep Guardiola's scratches after Manchester City-Feyenoord: what happened

Manchester, 27 November 2024 – It has not been an easy evening for Pep Guardiola: the coach of Manchester City he saw his team fall the victory for the sixth time in a row: after five defeats, yesterday against Feyenoord in the Champions League it's over 3-3. A draw that hurts even more, considering that Guardiola's team was leading 3-0 until the 74th minute: from there, the collapse, with three opposing goals in just fifteen minutes. 

Mister Guardiola presented himself at the press conference with a cut on the nose and with mechanical several scratches on the head: details that did not go unnoticed by the journalists present. “Yes, I did them with my nails of the fingers – he declared – I want to hurt myself” and a self harm linked to the recent poor performances of the team he coaches: “We are not capable of winning, as a team we have always found a way over the years, but at the moment we are not getting there”. It is the first time City have failed to win a game in which they are leading by three goals since 1989 and the first time ever that it has happened in the final 15 minutes of a Champions League match.
