There are still ninety minutes left until the end of Group A of the Third Category of Florence, but the Capraia can already celebrate. Thanks to the 4-0 inflicted yesterday in Montelupo on Marcialla, in fact, the team of Mr. Costoli is mathematically promoted in Second Category with one round to spare. Boni's brace and goals by Pellegrini and Tommaso Fornai sealed a ride that, barring a few small hiccups, was in fact triumphant. Twenty-one victories in 27 games, just 2 defeats, 67 points overall with the best attack (94 goals scored) and the least perforated defense (just 22 goals conceded). And 13 different players on target with three in double figures: the top scorer of the group Alessio Pellegrini (22) and Niccolò Ciulli and Luca Boni (both 17). Numbers that legitimize the yellow-blue superiority. Not to mention the following of the public, truly from a much different stage. "The fans were exceptional, even yesterday there were more than 200 of them," said the sports director, Alessandro Stivè. "Whether it was cold or rain, they never failed to support us, with drums, scarves and jerseys. They were truly a spectacle and I sincerely thank them, as I thank all the staff, the club and the team, who knew what they had to do right from the meeting in August."

Starting from scratch, in two years the Capraia has already managed to climb a step in amateur football, creating above all great enthusiasm in the country and carrying forward a project capable of attracting players from higher categories. "I do not deny that the sacrifices, for how we have decided to work, are many but these days then repay you for everything - concludes Stivè -. We have truly done a masterpiece because we were competing with teams of much higher calibre, see San Vincenzo a Torri and others that can spend infinitely more than us, such as San Polo who in December further strengthened the squad with important additions. For this reason the boys have been truly commendable, always all present at training and ready to give everything for each other on the pitch".
