The calendar is pressing, but after the dramatic 2-2 draw at Easter with Venezia D'Aversa has still granted a day of rest.Empoli will therefore return to the field today at the Sussidiario to prepare for the return semi-final of the Italian Cup scheduled for next Thursday at 21pm at the Dall'Ara in Bologna. First of all, the conditions of pezzella, who after having suffered a problem on the eve of the match against the Lagunari, remained on the bench for ninety minutes on Sunday. It is unlikely, however, that the Neapolitan left-back will be employed in Bologna, as will Anjorin and Solbakken, who will use these two days of work before the away match in Emilia to improve their condition, after returning two days ago. The focus for all three should in fact be the Florence derby next Sunday, where despite the difficulty of the match it will be important to try to get points for salvation, unlike a return match of the Coppa Italia where, instead, barring 'miracles' the outcome is already written after the 3-0 suffered in the first leg at the Carlo Castellani-Computer Gross Arena. Even more so for Pezzella, given that Cacace will be suspended against Fiorentina. Against the Viola the blue club hopes to have Ismajli back as well. In Bologna, therefore, we can expect a large tour-over with space for the various Seghetti, Tosto, De Sciglio, Bacci, Sambia, Ebuehi, Kovalenko and Konate.
