Empoli Under 17 triumphs against Juve Stabia and qualifies for the championship finals

Among the youth teams of theEmpoli engaged in the last weekend in their respective national championships, the one that stands out again isUnder 17 by Tonelli, who scores a poker on the field of the bottom team Juve Stabia. The Azzurrini score two goals in each half: in the first half Blini opens the scoring, taking advantage of a defensive lapse by the home team, and Lo Monaco doubles the score with a header, in the second half Blini and Busiello round off the result once again. Empoli remain tied at the top with Roma with 52 points, but on the last day Tonelli's team will observe their turn of rest. The Azzurrini are already qualified for the championship finals.

Defeated instead the Under 18 and Under 15, respectively 3-0 by Inter at home and 4-0 in the Florence derby. Mister Sarlo's older ones remain seventh at 10 points from the final phase, while Lo Russo's team is fourth with the pass for the second phase already in their pocket.

Finally, yesterday afternoon Polverini's Under 16 prevailed 3-2 away against Fiorentina, but risked a comeback by the Viola after closing the first half ahead 3-0 with a brace from Ciampelli and a goal from Perillo. Empoli therefore maintains the lead with a 5-point advantage over Roma.
