After a somewhat unstable start, Xabi Alonso and his men have revved up their engines, scoring five consecutive victories that have allowed them to break away from the group of teams between third and ninth place (7 in just 3 points) and bring themselves to -4 from the Bayern Monaco league leaders. Bayer Leverkusen is the only team that could bother the Bavarians in view of the final victory, but it is necessary to continue the streak of victories also against Sahin's Borussia Dortmund, who after returning to success have no desire to stop. The one at Signal Iduna Park, therefore, will be a very important match for the fate of the Bundesliga, both with regards to the race for the Champions League and for a possible reopening of the games for the title of German Champion. The day after the match between Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, Kompany's Bayern Munich will be engaged in the difficult away match at Borussia Park against Borussia M'Gladbach, who in the last three matches have collected two wins and a draw.
