Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich: Where to Watch the Bundesliga Classic on TV
There is great anticipation in Germany for Der Klassiker: the most important challenge of the season

Vincent Kompany
Dortmund, 29 November 2024 – A completely different path for Bayern Munich e Borussia Dortmund, with the former occupying the top of the rankings Bundesliga with 29 points while the second placed are in fifth place, with 10 points less. So far Bayern has been practically perfect: 9 wins, 2 draws and 0 defeats, with the best attack (36 goals scored) and the best defense in the championship (7 goals conceded). Borussia, on the other hand, has started a bit with fits and starts, collecting 6 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats, for a total of 19 points, behind Leverkusen, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt. On the other hand, however, there is an excellent path in the Champions League for the boys of Nuri Sahin, who with 4 wins and 1 defeat are in third place on equal points with Barcelona, behind Inter and Liverpool. Bayern, on the other hand, are in thirteenth place in the Cup with the big ears with 9 points, on par with Milan, Atletico Madrid e BenficaBoth the Bavarians and the Yellow and Blacks come to this match with confidence, given their excellent results in the top European competition: Bayern, in fact, overcame the PSG for 1-0 thanks to the goal of the former Napoli player Kim, while Borussia demolished the Dinamo Zagreb with a clear 3-0. The coach of the yellow and blacks Sahin wanted to highlight the positive moment of his team in the press conference, stating that he is ready, together with his boys, to face Bayern.
He then added that he expects a courageous performance from his players, since without this virtue it is impossible to prevail over the Bavarians. Surely the public will do its part, with Sahin who wanted to remember how Borussia is undefeated at home and, in giving energy to the environment, he recalled how Der Klassiker is a match that "makes history in itself", and the gap between the two teams is eliminated. Kompany, instead, wanted to urge his players not to underestimate Dortmund despite the high gap between the two teams in the standings. The former Manchester City legend also highlighted how the match between Bayern and Borussia is a match with a special flavour and said he wants to win by playing good football. A victory for the Bavarian club would give a strong push to the championship and, barring any surprises, would definitively shatter Borussia's dreams of fighting for the title, given that the gap between the two teams would rise to 13 points. Sahin and his team, on the other hand, are ready to climb the standings, and with tomorrow's 3 points they would definitely get closer to Bayern and would not lose sight of Leverkusen (who will face Union Berlin at 15:30 pm tomorrow), Leipzig (who will play Werder Bremen at the same time as Bayer) and Frankfurt (who will play Heidenheim away on Sunday).
