The Stockholm prosecutor's office has announced the closure of the investigation into the rape of Kylian Mbappé due to insufficient evidence. "I believe that the evidence is not sufficient to continue the investigation, which is therefore closed," said the prosecutor in charge of the case, Marina Chirakova, in a statement. The investigation began following a complaint from a woman who met Mbappé in early October in Stockholm, where he had been traveling with a group of friends. The 25-year-old former PSG player then spent the night in the Swedish capital, first in a nightclub and then in the hotel where the woman, who then filed a complaint, was raped. The French national team striker initially called the news "fake news" but later admitted that it was a "consensual" relationship.

"His progress will be monitored", the club announced. An absence that will now weigh on the Blancos' attack. Mister Ancelotti could remedy this by fielding Rodrygo from the 1st minute tomorrow night in the league against Rayo Vallecano.
