Florence, 6 February 2025 – A great evening to dedicate to Edward Bove: in the recovery of the match suspended due to the illness that struck him on December 1st, the Fiorentina show off one great demonstration of character and heart winning 3-0 against the super Inter champion of Italy.

We start again from the 16th minute of the match on December 1st: Inter starts off strong and puts pressure on the Viola. After a quarter of an hour, Carlos Augusto scores a goal that is disallowed for offside. The Viola take advantage of the counterattacks and miss two great opportunities with Kean (header on Sommer) and Dodo (diagonal out). The ball possession is almost entirely Nerazzurri, but it doesn't create any danger.
In the second half, the Viola continued to close down well and broke the Inter siege in the 60th minute with Ranieri who scores on a corner from Mandragora. Inter's reaction it is measured and does not create dangers for the Viola who double with Kean (great ball by Dodo) in the 68th minute and then they run riot again with Kean taking advantage of a mistake by the Nerazzurri defense. In the final minutes there is room for Caprini's debut in Serie A. Then it's just a party for the Viola, Monday night at Inter's home will be another match, but Florence is enjoying it.
