The new season of Fiorentina will officially begin on the weekend of July 12th and 13th, when the players will arrive at the Viola Park one by one to undergo medical and athletic tests. These will be the first moments in purple of Stefano Pioli, who however plans to land in Florence a few days earlier, after the official announcement of his hiring which should arrive around July 3. The Viola summer program is not yet completely official, but some pieces of the puzzle have already been placed. In the meantime, the usual friendly match at the start of the retreat with mister Galloppa's Primavera (confirmed in the year of his debut in the Youth League), then of course there is the other great classic of the summer, namely the match in Grosseto (July 24).

This will probably be the last test in Italy before leaving for the tour in England, where two prestigious friendlies are already known. The first against the Leicester on August 3rd (the English club, recently relegated to the Championship, has already put tickets on sale online), the other on August 9th at Old Trafford against Manchester United. It will be an emotional homecoming for David De Gea. Some other friendlies, especially at Viola Park, will surely be organized. The dates of Fiorentina's official debuts remain known. The first leg of the Conference League playoffs will be on August 21 (the draw involving the Viola will be on August 4), the away league match in Cagliari on Sunday 24 and the European return on Thursday 28.
