Fiorentina, Kean leaves the retreat for family reasons

Florence, April 23, 2025 – Tegola Fiorentina. A few hours before the kick-off of Cagliari-Fiorentina (today at 18:30 pm), Moise Kean had to leave the team's retreat. The centre forward would have taken a plane, destination Paris, where part of his family lives. 

The official press release from the club arrived in the afternoon, around 17pm, about an hour and a half before the kick-off of Cagliari-Fiorentina. Here is the note: 

"ACF Fiorentina announces that the footballer Moise Kean has had to leave the Cagliari training camp due to family reasons and will not be among those available for this afternoon's match. The footballer will return to Florence in the next few days". 

So no physical problems or injuries for the Viola striker. 

Due to the disappearance of Pope Francesco, Cagliari-Fiorentina had been postponed. It was supposed to be played on Easter Monday, but all the matches were postponed.
