Loans knot, the purple traffic light. Gosens, Folo and Fagioli are there. Gud, Cataldi and Adli in the balance. Zaniolo and Colpani will say goodbye

The ransom stock market. Everything still to be decided, much will depend on the last two months

It's all a question of traffic lights. Or, better said, green, yellow or red lights. The ones that are affecting the nine players of the Fiorentina who, between last summer and the winter session, tied themselves to the Viola club with the mission of staying there as long as possible. No one opted for Florence with the idea of overwintering: some more than others identified Palladino's project as the right piece to complete their puzzle. Obviously, despite the good premises, the responses so far have been different. And with two months to go until the end of the season, the ideal stock market of those who can really harbour hopes of confirmation next year has very different odds.

A continuous up and down that however, to date, seems to reward only three players with relative certainty: Robin Gosens, Michael Folorunsho e Nicolo Fagioli. For the German, in addition to the undoubted technical contribution provided this year, the contract speaks for itself: in just four games (at least 60 minutes on the pitch) the obligation to redeem will come into force by the Viola, who in the meantime already seem intent on redeeming both Folorunsho (the former Napoli player is liked for his great versatility) and Fagioli. For the 2001 - whose right will become an obligation in the event of European qualification - there seem to be no qualms about his purchase even if Fiorentina were to finish lower than 7th place.

Yellow light - therefore a sort of limbo - for Adli, Cataldi and Gud: the first two, due to some physical problems, will be evaluated based on how the season evolves while for the Icelander the only doubts are inherent in the 2nd degree trial for sexual misconduct to which he will be subjected in June. On the technical side no one has doubts about the potential of the number 10, questions that instead concern Andrea Colpani, Nicolò Zaniolo and Edoardo Bove. If for the latter any explanation is superfluous, for the two class of '99 pessimism prevails today given the poor contribution given so far to the Viola cause (the costs of the two redemptions, moreover, are oversized compared to what has been seen so far). Never say never, however: a screaming end to the year could shuffle all the cards on the table.
